About TrueCourse Captains School

TrueCourse Captain’s School was started by licensed Captains in order to share boating knowledge with enthusiastic skippers. We recognized that many experienced boaters crave additional knowledge beyond the safe boating courses, and also some may wish to turn their hobby into a full or part time career by obtaining their OUPV (six pack guide license), Towing Endorsement, or Master License.

We developed our USCG approved Courses to advance boating skills, to tune the skipper for the USCG test (we give the test) and to assist the skipper in obtaining their captains license. TrueCourse realizes that the students not only need assistance for the classroom/test, but to complete the list of requirements and documentation for the applications to the USCG. We fully assist the skipper in this effort until we have success. And we also continue to update the Captain with their Renewal of License, due every five years, as well as keeping them informed with upcoming changes in regulations.

TrueCourse Captain’s School is truly a “one stop” school to obtain the USCG License or better knowledge of boating skills.
