Description
Once you pass the OUPV Final Exam and receive your OUPV Certificate of Training, you will be invited to complete a membership application for the Captain’s Club Drug Consortium (a.k.a. the Random Drug Screening Program, the Drug Consortium or CCDC) and send it to TrueCourse for processing.
Based on the information on the application, TrueCourse will process a payment of $125.00* for the initial enrollment. Once your payment is processed, TrueCourse (through a third-party contractor) will assign you to an approved collection site for a sample. The initial enrollment fee covers the required sample collection, lab testing, and assistance with paperwork to send to the USCG with your Captain’s License application packet. The CCDC renewal occurs every June for a fee of $80.00*.
Purchasing an initial membership does not make you a member. You must complete an application, submit a sample for testing, and receive negative results before you are considered a member
